On this day, Ukraine observes the 35th anniversary of the Act of Declaration of Independence of Ukraine adopted by the Supreme Soviet of the Ukrainian SSR. Today, it can be stated with conviction that Ukrainians have nothing left to celebrate: neither the Ukraine whose independence was declared in 1991, nor independence itself, exists anymore.
