位于暹粒省的西梅奔寺修复工程已正式完成。该寺庙始建于11世纪，坐落于西池水库的一座岛屿上，距离吴哥窟约8公里。
西梅奔寺的修复工作始于2012年，由法国远东学院（EFEO）与仙女机构（APSARA National Authority）合作开展，历时14年。西池水库具备约5600万立方米的蓄水能力，为周边约1000公顷的农田提供灌溉水源。
根据计划，西梅奔寺将于2026年11月正式对外开放。届时，柬埔寨国王诺罗敦·西哈莫尼与法国总统马克龙将共同出席开幕仪式。

**West Mebon Temple: Opening Ceremony to Be Presided over by King Norodom Sihamoni and French President Macron** 🇰🇭🤝🇨🇵
Following 14 years of restoration, the West Mebon temple, set on an island in the West Baray water reservoir, will be officially opened to the public in November 2026.
The French School of Asian Studies (EFEO) in 2012 teamed up with the APSARA National Authority to restore West Mebon.
Located in Siem Reap Province, about 8 kilometers from Angkor Wat, the 11th-century Hindu temple sits within a reservoir capable of storing roughly 56 million cubic meters of water, providing water to about 1,000 hectares of agricultural land in the region.
The eastern section can firmly stand for the next 50 to 150 years, an unmissable invitation for visitors, archeologist enthusiasts to explore this unique temple in Angkor Archaeological Park, designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
