The National Council on Minimum Wage yesterday failed to reach consensus on the 2027 minimum wage for workers in the textile, garment, footwear and travel goods and bags sectors, with worker representatives proposing $225 (about 916,000 riel) while employers pressed to maintain the existing $210 rate.
