**Foreign Minister Prak Sokhonn met his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi on the sideline of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
Sokhonn highlighted Cambodia’s commitment to friendly ties and readiness to elevate bilateral relations.
“Looking ahead to the 35th anniversary of diplomatic ties in 2027, both countries reaffirmed their dedication to jointly prepare for the 2nd Bilateral Consultations on a mutually agreed date and venue,” he said.
Sokhonn also provided latest developments on the current situation along the Cambodia–Thailand border.
