🎓📚 Exploring Qualitative Research in International Relations and the Publication Process
The Asia Research Lab (ARL), with support from the Faculty of Social Sciences at the American University of Phnom Penh (AUPP), successfully hosted an insightful session on “Qualitative Research in International Relations and Publication Process” on September 28, 2026.
Led by Dr. Andrej Krickovic, Associate Professor of International Studies at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, China, the session explored key aspects of qualitative research, including developing research puzzles, research design, case selection, and the interpretive method of process tracing.
Participants also gained insights into the research publication process, offering valuable perspectives on how to develop compelling research questions and turn rigorous academic work into publishable scholarship.
