On Wednesday morning, September 16, 2026, at the Phnom Penh Hotel, the Accounting and Auditing Regulator (ACAR) of Non-Bank Financial Services Authority (FSA) organized a Dissemination Workshop on “**Roadmap for the Adoption of IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards in Cambodia **and** Prakas on the Implementation of CIFRS S1 General Requirements for Disclosure of Sustainability-related Financial Information and CIFRS S2 Climate-related Disclosures,” **presided over **by H.E. Bou Tharin**, Director General of the Accounting and Auditing Regulator and Chairman of the Sustainability Reporting Technical Committee (SRTC), accompanied by the Vice Chairman and members of the committee, together with ACAR management and technical officials, with the participation of enterprise owners, reporting entities, accountants, auditors, and relevant stakeholders, with approximately 200 participants.
This workshop was organized with the purpose of disseminating and raising awareness to the reporting entities and relevant stakeholders about the **Roadmap for the Adoption of IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards in Cambodia **and** Prakas on the Implementation of CIFRS S1 General Requirements for Disclosure of Sustainability-related Financial Information and CIFRS S2 Climate-related Disclosures **in order to prepare for the effective and highly responsible implementation of the sustainability disclosure standards in Cambodia.
