据柬埔寨国防部消息，自2025年12月27日停火协议生效以来，泰方在安瑟口岸区域部署集装箱、设置铁丝网、挖掘战壕并修建防御工事，同时存在破坏基础设施、民房及私人财产的行为。上述行动导致当地1114名柬埔寨平民（共计357户，含711名女性及597名儿童）至今无法返回家园。
柬埔寨国防部重申，柬方坚持保护由法暹边界委员会确定的国际边界线，尊重国际法原则、法暹公约、条约、地图及相关边界划定文件。柬方不承认任何通过武力改变边界的行为。
柬埔寨政府及国防部表示，将继续致力于履行2025年10月26日签署的柬泰和平协议联合声明，以及2025年12月27日柬泰边境委员会第三次特别会议的联合声明，以推动边境局势改善并恢复正常秩序。目前，该区域已恢复正常状态。

The Spokeswoman of the Ministry of National Defence of the Kingdom of Cambodia wishes to inform the general public as well as members of national and international media outlets as follows:
On Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 10:24 a.m., the Cambodian Liaison Group (CLG) of the Kingdom of Cambodia facilitated a field visit by the ASEAN Observer Team in Cambodia (AOT-KH) to observe, verify, and report on the situation along the Cambodia-Thailand border in the An Ses Border Checkpoint area, located in Choam Ksan Commune, Choam Ksan District, Preah Vihear Province.
Since the ceasefire took effect on December 27, 2025, the Thai military has continued to deploy shipping containers, lay barbed wire, dig trenches, build fortifications, destroy infrastructure, houses, and civilians' property, and illegally occupy Cambodian territory in the An Ses Border Checkpoint area. These actions have left 1,114 innocent Cambodian civilians, equal to 357 families (including 711 women and 597 children), still unable to return to their homes.
It must be emphasized that Cambodia maintains an unyielding and firm position on protecting the Cambodia–Thailand international boundary line as established by the Indochina–Siam Boundary Commission, by respecting the principles of international law, including the principle of the intangibility of inherited borders (Uti Possidetis Juris), and by respecting the Franco–Siamese conventions and treaties, maps, and the procès-verbaux of the Commission of the Abornement of the Boundary between Indo-China and Siam, as well as relevant agreements and documents that both parties have previously agreed upon. Cambodia absolutely does not recognize any border alterations resulting from the use of force.
The Royal Government and the Ministry of National Defence of Cambodia reaffirm our firm, sincere, and unwavering commitment to fully and faithfully respect and implement the Joint Statement of the Third Special Meeting of the Cambodia–Thailand General Border Committee (GBC) on December 27, 2025, the Joint Declaration on the Peace Agreement between Cambodia and Thailand on October 26, 2025, and all other relevant agreements, with a view to achieving the swift improvement of the situation and the restoration of normalcy.
The public, as well as national and international journalists, are hereby informed of the facts regarding this matter.
