H.E. Minister HUOT Hak Presides Over the Second Phase of Computer Handover to Ministry Leaders, Departments and Municipal-Provincial Departments of Tourism to Enhance Work Efficiency and Advance Digital Transformation Phnom Penh: The Ministry of Tourism organized the second-phase computer handover ceremony for the Ministry’s leadership, departments and units under the Ministry, as well as the Municipal-Provincial Departments of Tourism, under the presidency of H.E. HUOT Hak, Minister of Tourism. The initiative aims to strengthen institutional capacity and work efficiency while promoting the use of digital technology in carrying out official duties more effectively. The ceremony was attended by the Ministry’s leadership, representatives of departments and units under the Ministry, Municipal-Provincial Departments of Tourism, as well as officials of the Ministry of Tourism. During this second phase, the Ministry of Tourism received 110 computers from the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications, comprising 50 desktop computers and 60 laptop computers, for distribution to the Ministry’s leadership, departments and units under the Ministry, and Municipal-Provincial Departments of Tourism. Together with the first phase, the Ministry of Tourism has received a total of 350 computers, including 240 computers in the first phase and 110 computers in the second phase. On this occasion, H.E. Minister expressed his profound appreciation to H.E. CHEA Vandeth, Minister of Post and Telecommunications, for providing the computers to the Ministry of Tourism upon its request. He also extended his appreciation to H.E. NEANG Mao for facilitating coordination with the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications in securing the computers. H.E. Minister also advised the leadership and recipient units to use the computers for their intended purposes efficiently and responsibly and to ensure regular care and maintenance in order to preserve their quality and extend their service life. In the event of any technical issues, the relevant units may contact the Ministry’s digital transformation team for information technology support. The provision of these technological resources represents an important contribution to strengthening the Ministry’s digital infrastructure, enhancing the efficiency of its operations and administrative services, and supporting the Ministry of Tourism’s ongoing digital transformation toward a more modern, responsive and efficient administration in line with advancements in digital technology.
