会计与审计监管局参与非银行金融领域数字化转型研讨会

On the afternoon of 19th May 2026, with the high permission of H.E. Bou Tharin, Director General of the Accounting and Auditing Regulator (ACAR), Mr. Chor Rathana, Head of the Information Technology Office, accompanied by technical officials, attended a workshop on “Progress and Directions of Digital Transformation in Cambodia” at Business Development Center Building. The workshop was chaired by H.E. Dr. Mey Vann, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and Secretary General of the General Secretariat of the Non-Bank Financial Services Authority (NBFSA). The workshop was attended by Excellencies, ladies and gentlemen who are leaders and technical officials from regulators and entities under the supervision of the NBFSA, relevant ministries and institutions, banks, associations, financial technology companies, and other private sector companies operating in the non-bank financial sector, with a total of approximately 120 participants. The workshop was organized with the objective of gaining insights into the progress of digital transformation initiatives across ministries, institutions, and relevant entities, as well as collecting valuable inputs for the preparation of the “Draft Digital Transformation Strategic Plan for the Non-Bank Financial Sector 2026-2030,” ensuring that the strategy is comprehensive, practical, and effectively implementable for all relevant stakeholders. During the workshop, speakers and participants shared experiences, engaged in discussions, and exchanged views on the implementation of digital transformation, the application of technology to improve operational efficiency, data management, and the strengthening of digital governance frameworks, aiming to support the development of Cambodia’s non-bank financial sector to become more modern, competitive, and sustainable. ACAR’s participation in this workshop reflected its commitment and attention toward supporting and promoting the implementation of digital transformation in line with the Royal Government of Cambodia’s policies and the development direction of the non-bank financial sector.
