PHNOM PENH—Senate President Hun Sen advised the government to ensure the effective dismantling of scam networks by targeting not only scammers but also officials involved in the operations.**

The remarks were made during meetings with officials of government ministries and state institutions, as well as members of the capital, district, and commune councils on May 24 in Phnom Penh.**

He also advised the government not only to dismiss officials involved in scam operations but also to bring them before the courts as part of efforts to dismantle scam networks effectively.**

The Senate President also questioned how scammers, including some from countries far from Cambodia, were able to enter the country without proper travel documents.**
