Unlicensed Pattaya Clinic Offering Joint Treatments Raided by Police
PATTAYA, April 24, 2026 — Thai police and public health officials have raided an unlicensed medical clinic in Pattaya, detaining staff members and a doctor after authorities said the facility was operating without proper authorisation.
The operation took place on April 23 at the Rak Khao Clinic branch in central Pattaya after officials received reports of suspected illegal medical services, authorities said.
Investigators from Provincial Police Region 2 and the Chon Buri Provincial Public Health Office inspected the premises, which advertised specialised treatment for bone and joint conditions, including non-surgical therapies and methods claiming to slow osteoarthritis.
