**Digital Safety Starts With a Check-Up
SIEM REAP — A regular check-up can help internet users spot weaknesses in their online security before they become targets of hacking, scams or other digital threats, according to digital security consultant Chy Sophat.
Speaking at Cambodia ICT Camp 2026 in Siem Reap, Sophat introduced a digital health check-up tool designed to help people assess their online safety through a series of simple questions and practical recommendations. The tool is intended to be accessible even to people with limited digital literacy.
Sophat said users should familiarise themselves with common scam and phishing tactics, strengthen the security of important accounts such as Facebook, Telegram and email, and think twice before clicking unfamiliar links or opening suspicious files.
