There are two equinoxes per year namely the vernal and autumnal equinoxes, both occur in March and September respectively in the northern hemisphere.
Tourists usually visit Angkor Wat temple over the span of three days leading up to the precise moment, patiently waiting for this perfect alignment, hoping that clouds will not obscure the scenery.
