The joint delegation conducted field inspections and technical evaluations across four selected potential sites on Tuesday, June 30, 2026. This mission aims to compare the geographical, environmental, and structural feasibility of each location to ensure the bridge delivers maximum long-term benefit for local communities and the regional economy. The extensive field mission brought together a diverse group of stakeholders, including the technical working group from the Koh Khsach Tonlea Bridge Project Management Unit under the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, known as MPWT PMU-KTB. They were joined by the project’s technical consulting consortium, consisting of Chodai Company Limited and ES International Consultants Company Limited.
