旅游部推行RPL评估及CTPRS系统 助力从业者职业发展

the Minister instructed relevant stakeholders to further promote Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessments for those currently employed in the tourism sector; explore the possibility of expanding National Master Trainer and National Master Assessor training to cover travel services beginning in 2027; and continue developing the Cambodia Tourism Professionals Registration System (CTPRS) to facilitate self-learning, training management, and job matching. In conclusion, H.E. the Minister called upon all tourism professionals to embrace the spirit of “lifelong learning”, while upholding professional ethics and integrity, in order to jointly deliver excellent hospitality services to tourists and contribute to enhancing the quality and competitiveness of Cambodia’s tourism industry in a sustainable manner. It should also be highlighted that on 24 August 2026, the Royal Government of Cambodia issued a decision appointing the members of the National Committee for Tourism Professionals, chaired by H.E. HUOT Hak, Minister of Tourism, with a total of 13 vice-chairpersons and members representing relevant ministries and institutions, tourism vocational training institutions, and tourism industry associations.
