- Recharge Your Life with the Beauty of Cambodia’s Green Season! - Discover Cambodia in Its Most Vibrant and Lush Green Colors! H.E. HUOT Hak, Minister of Tourism, and Madam presided over the “2026 Green Season Tourism Talk” under the theme “Tourism Potential, Heritage Sites, and Culture During the Green Season.” The Tourism Talk is an engaging platform that brings numerous benefits to the tourism sector, including the sharing of knowledge and experiences in tourism development, the promotion of Cambodia’s tourism potential, and the encouragement of patriotism and love for the motherland. It also promotes the preservation of tangible and intangible cultural heritage as well as natural resources, in line with the visions of “Tourism Connected to Territory” and “To Love the Nation, One Must Know the Nation.” More importantly, the program contributes to enhancing Cambodia’s image and showcasing to the world that Cambodia is a safe, welcoming, and hospitable tourism destination, offering warmth, excellent hospitality, and memorable experiences for visitors from around the globe. The event was attended by H.E. Ngov Sengkak, Deputy Governor of Siem Reap Province, representing H.E. Prak Sophorn, Governor of Siem Reap Province; H.E. the Permanent Secretary of State; Neak Oknha Sam Ang Vattanac, CEO of Vattanac Brewery; senior leaders of the Ministry of Tourism; representatives of R.V Clip Media; sponsoring partners; distinguished speakers; representatives from the private sector; and numerous national and international guests. On this auspicious occasion, H.E. the Minister highlighted that Cambodia has recently demonstrated its capability and prestige on the international stage by successfully hosting the 39th World Conference of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) and the 42nd Annual Gathering of The Olave Baden-Powell Society (OB-PS) in Siem Reap Province under the high patronage of Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN MANET, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia. H.E. The Minister further emphasized that, under the leadership and dedicated efforts of Dr.PICH CHANMONY HUNMANET, this historic event attracted delegates from more than 100 countries and representatives of 153 member associations worldwide. H.E. the Minister noted that this important Tourism Talk program has been organized on several occasions at Phnom Penh’s Chaktomuk Walking Street, receiving strong support and participation from the public and international visitors. This year, the program gains even greater significance as it has been specially curated as part of the 2026 Green Season Campaign, beginning in Siem Reap before continuing to other tourism destinations across the coastal cluster, the northeastern region, and eventually concluding in Phnom Penh, with themes tailored to the unique tourism strengths of each destination. In this regard, H.E. the Minister stated that the program has become an important catalyst in promoting Cambodia’s Green Season tourism campaign, an initiative endorsed by Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, to replace the term “Low Season” with “Green Season” during the period from May to October. The Prime Minister has also provided renewed momentum for the continuation of the Green Season Campaign in 2026, which was officially launched on 2 May 2026. Furthermore, H.E. the Minister underscored that the transformation from “Low Season” to “Green Season” is not merely a change in terminology; it represents a shift in mindset and a forward-looking national strategy. This season is when Cambodia reveals its most authentic and vibrant beauty. Across the country, lush green landscapes flourish, fresh air fills the atmosphere, and breathtaking scenery creates rare and meaningful experiences for visitors.
