On 18 September 2026, H.E. TY Nitor, Under-Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia, led a Cambodian delegation to a working meeting with Mr. Cristian Cutaș, Deputy General Director of the Romanian Agency for Investment and Foreign Trade (ARICE) in Bucharest, Romania.
The two sides exchanged insights, ideas and best practices on how Cambodia and Romania can further strengthen and institutionalize working relations to better connect and support their respective private sectors, with a view to promoting greater trade and investment between the two countries. Discussions also touched on their respective investment environments, investment facilitation, human-capital development, and the role of overseas economic promotion networks in supporting businesses and investors.
The meeting was part of H.E. TY Nitor’s working visit to Romania, aimed at strengthening bilateral economic cooperation and gathering practical inputs for Cambodia’s Economic Diplomacy Strategy.
