Press release of the Ministry of National Defence of the Kingdom of Cambodia:
The Second Annual Tour of 2026 for the Military Attachés Corps in Phnom Penh (MACPP) to conduct an observstion at the O’Smach International Border Checkpoint in Oddar Meanchey Province, following the implementation of the Ceasefire Agreement.
During the actual on-site observation and inspection, there were five instances of gunfire initiated by Thai military forces between 10:35 AM and 11:09 AM. A total of nine rounds were fired, consisting of both M79 and M16 weapon types.
