The approvals mark a significant step forward in the administration’s ongoing efforts to turn the remote border areas into vibrant hubs of industrial and agricultural productivity. The critical decision was finalized during the 5th review meeting of the Working Group to Promote Investment in the Northeastern Provinces, also known as the SPIN Working Group, which convened on Friday, June 26, 2026.
