According to handing over on July 2026, Permanent Secretary of State Dr. Ty Norin, representing Minister of Mines and Energy Keo Rattanak, presided over an official handover ceremony in Pursat province for medical diagnostic devices and radiation detection equipment supplied under technical cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). During the ceremony, the Ministry of Mines and Energy officially allocated the specialized equipment across three key state entities to bolster monitoring and diagnostic capacity. A total of nine radiation detection kits were handed over directly to the Ministry of Mines and Energy to enhance routine monitoring and safety oversight at sites utilizing radioactive sources across the Kingdom.
