**Phnom Penh port sees container throughput surge by more than one-third**
Business operations at the Phnom Penh Autonomous Port (PPAP) continue to show strong performance. During the first five months of the year, more than 270,000 TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent units) of containers passed through the port, representing an increase of over 30% compared to the same period in 2025. Meanwhile, a total of 1,782 cargo and passenger vessels called at the port.
