On the morning of 15 May 2026, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received a courtesy call from His Excellency Pang Chee Wee, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Singapore to the Kingdom of Cambodia, at the Ministry.
On that occasion, His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister extended his warm welcome and congratulations to His Excellency Pang Chee Wee on his appointment, and reaffirmed his full support and cooperation to facilitate the successful fulfilment of
the Ambassador’s diplomatic mission.
In response, His Excellency the Ambassador expressed his sincere appreciation to His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister for granting him the honour of paying the courtesy call, and conveyed his gratitude to the leadership and officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for their continued support and cooperation extended to the Singaporean Embassy in Cambodia. He reaffirmed his commitment to further strengthening and expanding the excellent relations between the two countries across all areas of cooperation.
His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister also provided His Excellency the Ambassador with an update on the current situation regarding the Cambodia-Thailand border issue.
