柬埔寨会计与审计监管局代表出席在雅加达举行的第31届东盟会计

**** From 19 to 20 October 2026, Mrs. Nean Bony, Deputy Director General of the Accounting and Auditing Regulator (ACAR), representing H.E. Bou Tharin, Director General of ACAR, and accompanied by ACAR officials, attended the 31st ASEAN Chartered Professional Accountant Coordinating Committee (ACPACC) Meeting and the Business Services Sectoral Working Group (BSSWG) Meeting, held in Jakarta, Indonesia. The meetings were also attended by Mrs. Savuth Daly, Chief Executive Officer of the Kampuchea Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Auditors (KICPAA), together with delegates from seven ASEAN Member States participating in person and three ASEAN Member States joining virtually. Timor-Leste was not represented at the meetings. The meetings provided a platform for ASEAN Member States to exchange updates, review progress, and discuss key initiatives aimed at strengthening cooperation, professional recognition, and mobility in the accounting and auditing profession across the region. The key agenda items discussed during the meetings included: 1. Updates on Monitoring Committees: Review of the composition of the Monitoring Committees of Indonesia and the Philippines. 2. Progress on ASEAN Chartered Professional Accountant (ASEAN CPA) Registration: As of September 2026, the total number of registered ASEAN CPAs reached 9,189, representing an increase of 272 compared to the previous reporting period. This figure includes six inactive ASEAN CPAs from Malaysia. 3. Updates on Registered Foreign Professional Accountants (RFPAs): The total number of RFPAs reached 39, following the registration of four additional Thai nationals as RFPAs in Lao PDR in June 2026. 4. Updates on Regulated and Non-Regulated Accountancy Services: Exchange of information on the regulatory frameworks and developments concerning regulated and non-regulated accountancy services in Brunei Darussalam, Lao PDR, and Singapore. 5. Development of the ASEAN CPA E-Certificate: Discussions on the procedures for the issuance, verification, and distribution of ASEAN CPA electronic certificates, with implementation targeted for 2027. 6. Regional Cooperation on Sustainability Reporting: Presentation of a progress report by the Singapore-led Task Force on Sustainability Reporting (TFSR), including a proposal for a non-binding Manifesto of Support, which is expected to be signed in 2027. 7. Reporting and Coordination under the BSSWG: Presentation of the outcomes of the 31st ACPACC Meeting and updates from the ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineers Coordinating Committee (ACPECC), ASEAN Architects Council (AAC), ACPACC, and ASEAN Coordinating Committee on Services (ACACS) to the Chair of the BSSWG.
