Over 200 customers of US- and UK-sanctioned Huione Pay protested outside the Chinese Embassy in Phnom Penh on Wednesday, demanding the return of money they say was lost. The group had earlier sought assistance from the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC), which directed them to file complaints with the court.
A Chinese national among the protesters told Kiripost that the embassy has not provided any updates and referred them back to the central bank. The group plans to return to the NBC on April 24. Photos by Chhim Pich Bormey
