On September 30, 2026, at the Diamond Island Convention and Exhibition Center, Minister of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation Hem Vanndy presided over the official launch of CAM-PACK+, an initiative titled “Enhancing Regional Market Access Through Packaging Innovation in Mekong-Lancang Countries”. The launch ceremony took place on the closing day of the PackTalk & Foodtec Cambodia 2026 expo, convening government officials, regional delegates, and private sector representatives. The CAM-PACK+ project is designed to directly benefit MSMEs across Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam by modernizing packaging standards and enhancing product presentation. The 15-month regional initiative is backed by $300,000 in funding from the Chinese government through the Mekong-Lancang Cooperation Special Fund.
