2026年7月3日,柬埔寨旅游部部长胡哈在暹粒省荔枝山国家公园(Preah Jayavarman-Norodom National Park)主持召开对话会,与当地社区代表及旅游运营商进行交流。暹粒省副省长吴森卡、吴哥机构代表、相关省属部门负责人、乡长及当地社区约200人出席会议。
胡哈部长在会上提出,旅游部计划将荔枝山打造为继吴哥窟之后,柬埔寨又一顶级自然、文化及宗教旅游目的地。该规划旨在通过高质量、可持续及包容性的发展模式,提升荔枝山的竞争力,并吸引国内外游客在全年不同季节到访,包括旅游旺季及雨季。
为支持当地社区发展,旅游部向公园内的5个社区提供了物资与资金援助。每个社区获得100万瑞尔的资金支持,以及各20把雨伞和20件雨衣,以应对雨季需求。

“Together, we must transform Preah Jayavarman-Norodom National Park (Phnom Kulen) into Southeast Asia’s leading destination for nature, cultural, and spiritual tourism—one that is high-quality, sustainable, inclusive, competitive, and full of potential, serving as Cambodia’s premier tourism destination after Angkor Wat.”

H.E. HUOT Hak, Minister of Tourism, presided over a dialogue with local communities and tourism operators at Preah Jayavarman-Norodom National Park (Phnom Kulen). The event aimed to engage directly with community members, listen to their concerns and challenges, and receive recommendations from the five local communities within the national park.
The event was attended by senior leaders of the Ministry of Tourism; H.E. Ngov Sengkak, Deputy Governor of Siem Reap Province, representing H.E. Prak Sophorn, Governor of Siem Reap Province; representatives of the Angkor Institution; heads of relevant provincial departments; commune chiefs; local authorities; representatives of Nokor Kok Thlok Company; and approximately 200 participants from the park’s five local communities.
On this occasion, H.E. the Minister conveyed the warm greetings and best wishes from Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN, President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and Samdech Kittipritthbandit BUN RANY HUNSEN, as well as Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN MANET, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and H.E. Dr. PICH CHANMONY HUNMANET, to the residents of the five communities living within Preah Jayavarman-Norodom National Park (Phnom Kulen).
H.E. The Minister also expressed his sincere appreciation to all community members for their dedication and invaluable contributions to conserving natural resources and promoting the park’s tourism potential to visitors from around the world.
H.E. the Minister reiterated the vision of transforming Phnom Kulen National Park into Southeast Asia’s leading destination for nature, cultural, and spiritual tourism, characterized by quality, sustainability, inclusiveness, strong competitiveness, and significant potential, making it Cambodia’s next flagship tourism destination after the Angkor Archaeological Park.
H.E. The Minister further explained that the preparation of the Master Plan aims to develop Phnom Kulen into a well-managed tourism destination that preserves its natural assets, cultural heritage, and spiritual significance while enhancing the visitor experience. The plan seeks to attract both domestic and international tourists throughout the year, particularly during both the High Season and the Green Season, in line with the Royal Government of Cambodia’s vision for sustainable and inclusive tourism development.
On the occasion, H.E. the Minister also provided support to the park’s five local communities. Each community received KHR 1 million in financial assistance, along with 20 Green Season umbrellas and 20 Green Season raincoats to support community activities during the rainy season.
