**Today marks the first anniversary of Techo International Airport (KTI)!** **✈️ **🇰🇭
Since the launch in 9 September 2025, Techo International Airport welcomed nearly two million international passengers, marking an important milestone in Cambodia’s growing connectivity and contributing to the country’s economic growth.
As highlighted by the BBC, this brand-new airport has become Cambodia’s newest main international gateway, a high-tech landmark reflecting a nation’s transition into an increasingly sophisticated global player. KTI now serves as the country’s primary international airport, connecting the Kingdom with destinations across the region and the world.
KTI has also been named among the World’s Most Beautiful Airports 2026 in the rankings by Prix Versailles, which recognized its combination of contemporary engineering and Cambodian architectural traditions, creating a terminal that balances operational efficiency, environmental considerations and cultural identity.
