**Tiv Dararith’s 40-Country Ride for Cambodia and Children
PHNOM PENH – Beyond raising funds for children's hospitals, cyclist Tiv Dararith carried the Cambodian flag across 40 countries, sharing his nation's stories, rich culture and diverse tourism destinations with people along the way.
Despite accidents, exhaustion and countless challenges, he said he never considered giving up.
For Dararith, every stop was an opportunity to introduce Cambodia — its ancient civilization, vibrant culture and tourism attractions beyond Angkor Wat.
After two years cycling across Asia, Europe and Africa, he returned home having made many Cambodians proud through his dedication and sacrifice.
His mission to raise $250,000 for Kantha Bopha Hospital and Angkor Hospital for Children has been achieved. Yet his commitment to helping children and promoting Cambodia has not stopped.
He plans to document the journey through a documentary and a book titled Two Years on a Bike, preserving the stories and experiences.**
