Developing robust drainage and wastewater treatment infrastructure remains a vital strategic target for the Royal Government of Cambodia as it transforms Sihanoukville into a multi-purpose special economic zone and a modern coastal hub. According to the September 1, 2026 meeting, H.E. Ros Vanna, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Public Works and Transport and Director of the Sihanoukville Drainage and Wastewater Treatment Infrastructure Development Project, chaired a bilateral working session at the ministry headquarters.
