**The Return of the Beauty of Beng Mealea Temple: A New Wooden Bridge That Offers a Wonderful and Safe Visiting Experience**
Today, this “forest temple” has become even more attractive as the APSARA National Authority has completed the renovation of a new wooden bridge, just in time to welcome national and international tourists during the upcoming Khmer New Year.
The newly constructed wooden bridge, stretching 189 meters, offers more than just a walkway—it provides a unique journey into the heart of the temple. Extending from the southern entrance toward the central ruins, the bridge acts as a gentle guide, leading visitors through the site while preserving its fragile structure. Built with careful attention to technical standards, the bridge has been widened from 1.30 meters to 1.70 meters, ensuring smoother movement and allowing visitors to pause for photos without obstruction.
