The appointments bring together two experienced education leaders who will support greater collaboration between Cambodia’s educational institutions, employers and other private-sector stakeholders. Carrie Cameron Seeks Broader Educator Participation Cameron, Principal of Vattanac, brings more than 22 years of international teaching and leadership experience to the position. She has worked across the United Kingdom, China and Cambodia, holding senior positions including Head of Primary and Deputy Head of School. Speaking to Cambodia Investment Review, Cameron said she was proud to assume the leadership role during an important period for Cambodia’s education sector. “I’m really proud to be taking on the role of Chair of the IBC Education Committee at such an exciting time for education in Cambodia,” Cameron said. “What I’m particularly looking forward to is bringing together the experience, ideas and voices of educators and education leaders from across the sector.” She said Cambodia has substantial educational expertise that can be brought together through the working group to share good practices and collectively address the sector’s challenges and opportunities.
