Thank You, Peace!
Thank You, the Win-Win Policy!
We express our gratitude to the founder, supreme architect, and implementers of the Win-Win Policy, which brought about peace and complete national unity!
The Tourism Family, Led by H.E. Minister HUOT Hak, Presents Generous Gifts from Samdech Moha Bovor Thipadei HUN Manet and Her Excellency Dr. to Heroic Troops at Military Region 4 Headquarters on the Occasion of Pchum Ben 2026
Siem Reap Province: H.E. HUOT Hak, Minister of Tourism, presided over a goodwill visit and gathering with officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers of Military Region 4. These courageous troops have demonstrated unwavering commitment to defending Cambodia’s sovereignty and protecting the Nation, Religion, and King against all acts of aggression along the Cambodian border, particularly during the recent conflict with the Thai military.
This special gathering was attended by H.E. Lieutenant General POV Heng, Deputy Commander of the Royal Cambodian Army and Commander of Military Region 4; H.E. SAMKOL Sochetra, Deputy Governor of Siem Reap Province, representing H.E. PRAK Sophoan, Governor of Siem Reap Province; the Permanent Secretary of State of the Ministry of Tourism; senior ministry leaders; H.E. LY Se, Director General of Angkor Enterprise; H.E. KIM Sothin, Deputy Director General of the APSARA National Authority; deputy commanders, deputy chiefs of staff, heads of offices, representatives of institutions and units under Military Region 4, and military officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers. Approximately 500 people attended.
On this occasion, H.E. the Minister expressed his appreciation to H.E. Lieutenant General POU Heng for providing the venue and coordinating the arrangements, enabling the tourism family to visit and meet with the troops.
H.E. the Minister highlighted the historic contributions and heroic example of Samdech Techo, who risked his life to secure peace for the country and its people. Through the introduction of the Win-Win Policy, he brought about national reconciliation and complete territorial unity. The Minister also paid profound tribute to Samdech Techo, successive generations of Cambodian People’s Party leaders, and especially the courageous troops and members of all branches of the armed forces who have sacrificed their lives, shed their blood, and endured tremendous hardship to safeguard national sovereignty, territorial integrity, and independence for the nation, the motherland, and the people.
Samdech Techo and Samdech Thipadei have also called upon all ministries and institutions to give close attention to visiting and meeting directly with troops stationed throughout the country to protect the people’s safety and preserve peace. In this spirit, the tourism family brought generous gifts from Samdech Moha Bovor Thipadei HUN Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, to Military Region 4 Headquarters on the occasion of Kan Ben and Pchum Ben, recognizing that their duties in defending the country have prevented the troops from returning to their hometowns.
As an expression of solidarity from the tourism family, H.E. the Minister, together with leaders and officials at all levels of the Ministry of Tourism and representatives of partner institutions—including the Siem Reap Provincial Administration, Angkor Enterprise, the APSARA National Authority, and private-sector benefactors—also contributed financial assistance, food, beverages, and other essential supplies, including:
• KHR 10 million for Military Region 4 Headquarters;
• KHR 50,000 each for 290 officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers present;
• 3 tonnes of rice;
• 100 cases of instant noodles;
• 5 large cases of Cambodian canned fish, equivalent to 50 packs;
• 100 packs of fish sauce;
• 100 packs of soy sauce;
