Cambodia Investment Review
BRICS House Cambodia brought together approximately 200 government officials, diplomats, investors and business leaders for a Cambodia–Russia tourism and investment forum at the Ministry of Tourism on 18 September.
Organised under the theme “Cambodia Is Open – Russia Is Our Next Market,” the roadshow aimed to introduce Cambodia to more Russian tourism partners while creating opportunities for business and investment discussions. Guests of honour included H.E. Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, and H.E. Anatoly Borovik, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Cambodia. Governors, ministers and other senior representatives also attended.
Building Cambodia–Russia Tourism and Investment Links
The event was organised by BRICS House Cambodia, led by its President, Vladimir Palancica, and Vice President, Khek Khemrath. It provided a meeting point for Cambodian officials and businesses seeking closer ties with Russian tourism operators, investors and other potential partners.
For the September roadshow, Russia was the immediate focus. The forum sought to turn interest in Cambodia into stronger relationships with travel companies and investors, while giving local businesses a chance to present what the country can offer. The discussions built on earlier efforts involving Russian tourism representatives, including a visit to Siem Reap in June.
