8月2日，第11届吴哥帝国马拉松在暹粒吴哥考古公园举行。本次赛事共吸引来自51个国家的6500多名选手报名参赛。
赛事设有42公里全马、21公里半马、10公里跑及3公里趣味跑四个组别。据Cambodianess报报道，今年全马项目的参赛人数较往年有显著增长。

The Most Exciting Finish-Line Moments of the Angkor Empire Marathon
SIEM REAP— Joy, relief and celebration filled the finish line as runners crossed the final stretch of the 11th Angkor Empire Marathon, marking the end of their remarkable achievement.
More than 6,500 runners from 51 countries registered for this year's event, with participation in the full marathon increasing significantly compared with last year. About 1,000 international runners took part, with the largest groups coming from China, Japan and France.
Held on Aug. 2 at the Angkor Archaeological Park in Siem Reap province, the marathon featured four race categories: the 42km full marathon, 21km half marathon, 10km, and 3km fun run.
