**Cambodia Briefs Diplomatic Corps on Thailand’s Termination of Maritime Deal PHNOM PENH – Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Eat Sophea on May 6 briefed members of the diplomatic corps on the Thai government’s unilateral termination of the 2001 Memorandum of Understanding on Overlapping Maritime Claims to the Continental Shelf (MOU-2001). The briefing was attended by representatives of diplomatic missions in Cambodia and international organizations. Eat Sophea also updated the diplomatic corps on recent developments along the Cambodia–Thailand border amid ongoing tensions related to maritime and border issues.
