2026年8月27日，柬埔寨国防部发布新闻公报，就奥斯马（O’Smach）口岸边境局势作出说明。
由菲律宾籍团长率领的东盟观察团队（AOT-KH）近日前往柬泰边境进行实地考察，旨在核实并报告当地局势。此次考察重点针对奥斯马国际口岸区域，包括奥特棉吉省森隆市奥斯马区奥斯马村的建筑工人营地。
根据公报内容，观察团队在现场核实了泰方在柬埔寨领土上的多项活动，包括部署集装箱、安装铁丝网、挖掘战壕、修建掩体及道路。柬埔寨国防部指出，上述行为属于泰方在柬方领土上的非法施工及非法占领。

Press Release of the Ministry of National Defence of the Kingdom of Cambodia:
The ASEAN Observer Team in Cambodia (AOT-KH), led by the Head of Mission (AOT-KH HOM) from the Republic of the Philippines, was on a field visit to observe, verify, and report on the situation along the Cambodia–Thailand border. The team also inspected the deployment of shipping containers, installation of barbed wire, excavation of trenches, construction of bunkers and roads on Cambodian territory, as well as the illegal occupation by the Thai military at the O’Smach International Point of Entry, particularly in the area of the construction workers’ camp located in O’Smach Village, O’Smach district, Samraong Municipality, Oddar Meanchey Province.
