Cambodia Calls for Diplomacy and International Law in Resolving Conflicts
UNITED NATIONS, May 26, 2026 — Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Prak Sokhonn has called for stronger respect for territorial integrity and peaceful dispute resolution amid growing global instability and armed conflicts.
Speaking during a high-level open debate of the United Nations Security Council on Tuesday, Prak Sokhonn said rising geopolitical tensions and international conflicts had reinforced the importance of diplomacy and adherence to international law as the foundation of global order.
