Cambodians are returning with food ingredients they might not find easily in the capital or major cities, as well as vegetables and meats. Because some things might be hard to find in some cities, and they may feel that those from home taste better than products in the cities where they work or study. So, for a few days after Khmer New Year, people looking at buses, taxis, private vehicles or even motorcycles on the country’s roads leading to major cities will see a great deal of bags and containers of all kinds beside actual luggage.
