Fuel Price Spike Triggers Protest in Bangkok
BANGKOK, April 4, 2026 — Labour groups and activists gathered outside Thailand’s Labour Ministry on Thursday April 2, urging the government to take urgent action to address surging fuel prices and a worsening cost-of-living crisis.
The demonstration brought together members of the Thai Labour Solidarity Committee, the State Enterprises Workers’ Relations Confederation, and the Thai Social Democratic Party.
