(Phnom Penh): On the morning of Friday, 16 October 2026, at the Ministry of Commerce, His Excellency Lim Lork Piseth, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce, held a virtual meeting with His Excellency Mario José Armengol Campos, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Nicaragua to the Kingdom of Cambodia, to further strengthen bilateral trade and economic relations and deepen cooperation between the two countries. During the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their shared desire to expand bilateral trade and economic relations, recognizing the considerable untapped potential, particularly the complementary nature of both economies, which presents new opportunities for trade, investment, and stronger private-sector engagement.
