Located in Pramoy Commune within the Veal Veng District, the 80-megawatt renewable energy facility marks a significant advancement in Cambodia’s domestic infrastructure capabilities. This critical multi-purpose project is being developed with a total capital investment of approximately $231 million by SPHP Cambodia Co., Ltd., in close partnership with the international technical firm POWERCHINA. Construction operations originally commenced in late 2022. Under current development schedules, the entire complex is expected to achieve full completion and begin supplying electricity directly to the national grid by the end of 2026. Upon completion, the facility will be capable of producing an estimated 369 million kilowatt-hours, or 369 GWh, of clean energy per year to support sustainable growth across the kingdom.
