CMAC Chief says use of cluster munitions violates international law

The recent Third Review Conference on the Implementation of the Convention on Cluster Munitions in Vientiane, Laos, issued a declaration condemning the use of cluster munitions by any actor and under any circumstances, calling for such use to stop and for obligations under international humanitarian and human rights law to be respected.
