Four fuel tank cars overturned when a freight train derailed in Battambang town on Saturday, Sept. 19, spilling diesel and gasoline into a canal and onto surrounding land.
The derailment happened at about 12:37 p.m. at kilometer 277 of the northern railway line, in Ou Char commune. The train was carrying diesel and gasoline from a Tela fuel depot in Sihanoukville to Tela's Boeung Pring depot in Battambang. Three of the overturned cars held diesel and one held gasoline...
