Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Signing Ceremony Between the Cambodia Tourism Board (CTB) and AirAsia Cambodia
H.E. HUOT Hak, Minister of Tourism, presided over the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Cambodia Tourism Board (CTB) and AirAsia Cambodia. The partnership aims to further promote Cambodia’s tourism potential to a wider international audience and enhance the Kingdom’s reputation on the global stage.
The ceremony, held this morning, was attended by Mr. Nam Vissoth, Chief Executive Officer of AirAsia Cambodia; distinguished members of the Cambodia Tourism Board, including senior government officials, Neak Oknhas, Oknhas, and private sector representatives; H.E. Kim Minea, Chief Executive Officer of the Cambodia Tourism Board; as well as numerous distinguished guests.
In his remarks, H.E. the Minister expressed his strong confidence and optimism that today’s signing marks an important milestone in a robust, fruitful, and highly effective partnership. He emphasized that this collaboration will play a significant role in attracting more international visitors to Cambodia, thereby contributing to the development of the tourism sector and fostering greater socio-economic growth for the Kingdom.
On this meaningful occasion, H.E. the Minister conveyed his profound appreciation for the trust and commitment demonstrated by AirAsia Cambodia in supporting the growth of Cambodia’s tourism industry. He also acknowledged the airline’s continued sponsorship and active participation in numerous tourism events, campaigns, and programs organized by Cambodia’s tourism family over the years.

H.E. the Minister emphasized that Australia and India are strategic tourism markets with tremendous potential and remarkable growth prospects for Cambodia. Travelers from these two countries are increasingly seeking authentic cultural experiences, heritage tourism destinations, wellness tourism opportunities, and diverse culinary experiences—areas in which Cambodia possesses strong competitive advantages and is fully prepared to meet visitor expectations by offering exceptional and unforgettable travel experiences.
