On the morning of 9 September 2026, at the Ministry, H.E. Sun Sovanna, Secretary of State and Deputy Head of the Secretariat of the National Organizing Committee for the 20th Francophonie Summit, attended a meeting which was chaired by H.E. Eat Seyla, Deputy Head of the Secretariat and Head of the 2nd Sub Commission on Protocol and Hospitality. The meeting focused on preparations for the first rehearsal, scheduled for 26 September 2026, with a view to ensuring the smooth and effective conduct of the upcoming 20th Francophonie Summit.
The participants in the discussion included representatives of the 4th Sub-Commission on Security, Public Order and Rescue and the 3rd Sub-Commission on Press and Media, along with working group leaders and relevant officials from the 2nd Sub Commission.
