2026年9月27日，柬埔寨旅游部与古巴旅游部在暹粒省签署了旅游合作谅解备忘录。此次签署仪式在柬埔寨政府的批准下进行，由柬埔寨旅游部部长胡哈（HUOT Hak）与古巴驻柬埔寨大使米莱娜·卡里达·萨尔迪瓦·皮德拉（Milena Caridad Zaldívar Piedra）共同完成。
该备忘录旨在建立两国旅游部门间的合作框架，通过资源共享与政策支持，加强双方在旅游领域的交流。合作重点包括推动旅游业发展、促进经验与知识互换，以及基于平等互利的原则，实现柬埔寨旅游市场向拉丁美洲地区的多元化拓展。

Cambodia's Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Cuba Sign a Memorandum of Understanding on Tourism Cooperation to Strengthen and Expand Bilateral Tourism Collaboration
With the approval of the Royal Government of Cambodia, H.E.HUOT Hak, Minister of Tourism of the Kingdom of Cambodia, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Tourism Cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Cuba, represented by H.E. Ms. Milena Caridad Zaldívar Piedra, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to the Kingdom of Cambodia, in Siem Reap Province.
This Memorandum of Understanding marks an important milestone in establishing a framework for cooperation between the tourism authorities of the two countries. It aims to promote tourism development, facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experience, and diversify Cambodia's tourism markets into Latin America, based on the principles of equality and mutual benefit.
It is worth noting that Cambodia and Cuba established diplomatic relations in 1960. As of 2026, the two countries have enjoyed 66 years of diplomatic friendship and cooperation.
