The Royal Government of Cambodia has further solidified its commitment to revitalizing the economy of Preah Sihanouk Province by granting special incentives to an additional 18 investment projects. This decision was finalized during the 24th meeting of the Investment Promotion Working Group held on March 25, 2026. The session was presided over by His Excellency Hean Sahib, Advisor to the Prime Minister and Chairman of the working group, and attended by representatives from relevant ministries and provincial authorities to review proposals with a combined investment capital exceeding $144 million.
The latest round of approved projects covers a diverse range of strategic sectors, including the establishment of animal feed factories, the development of industrial parks, and the construction of multi-purpose and co-owned residential buildings. Beyond their financial value, these initiatives are projected to generate approximately 1,000 new jobs for the local community, serving as a critical driver for employment and economic stability in the region.
