第11届吴哥帝国马拉松于2026年8月2日在暹粒吴哥窟前正式开赛。本次赛事共吸引约6500名选手报名参加，其中来自中国、日本和英国的外国选手人数位居前列。
赛事设有42公里、21公里及10公里三个组别。其中，42公里组别是唯一从吴哥窟入口延伸至暹粒市区的赛程，其余组别均在吴哥公园内部进行。
42公里赛道的具体路线途经吴哥国家博物馆、皇家住所，穿过普拉普罗姆罗寺（Preah Promroth Pagoda），随后沿仙女路（Apsara Road）向皇家浴池（Srah Srang）方向行进，并在途中折返至班迭萨雷寺（Banteay Samre Temple）。

**Marathoners, Half-Marathoners Take Off at Angkor Empire Marathon **
**SIEM REAP — Runners in 42km, 21km and 10km categories of the 11th Angkor Empire Marathon have started the race on Aug. 2 in front of the Angkor Wat Temple. **
**The marathoners are the only participants to run from the Angkor entrance to Siem Reap city. The other categories only included the running courses within the Angkor Park.**
**The 42km will pass the Angkor National Museum and Royal Residence crossing the Preah Promroth Pagoda to the Apsara Road in direction to Srah Srang, and will take a U-Turn along the way to Banteay Samre Temple. **
**Among about 6,500 registered runners, China, Japan and the United Kingdom have the most foreign runners**.
