2026年8月18日，柬埔寨外交与国际合作部国务秘书兼柬埔寨湄公河-澜沧江合作国家秘书处主席坎·帕利（KAN Pharidh），在金边为中国工作组代表团举行工作午宴。中国外交部亚洲司顾问王德新（WANG Dexin）及中国驻柬埔寨大使馆代表出席活动。
双方在午宴期间讨论了湄公河-澜沧江合作专项基金项目的实施进展，并重申将共同加强湄公河-澜沧江合作框架，确保相关项目为区域内各国人民带来实际利益。
同日，中国代表团在金边实地考察了两个由湄公河-澜沧江合作专项基金资助的项目现场，分别是柬埔寨卫生部下属的国家疟疾、寄生虫病与昆虫学中心，以及妇女事务部下属的湄公河-澜沧江区域妇女创业发展中心。
在结束此次柬埔寨工作访问前，中国代表团还前往柬埔寨外交与国际合作部，与柬埔寨湄公河-澜沧江合作国家秘书处及相关项目执行部门的代表举行了工作会议。

On 18 August 2026, **His Excellency KAN Pharidh**, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Chair of the National Secretariat of Cambodia for Mekong-Lancang Cooperation, hosted a luncheon in honour of the Chinese joint working group, led by **Mr. WANG Dexin**, Counsellor of the Department of Asian Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, together with representatives of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Phnom Penh during their working visit to Cambodia.
During the luncheon, both sides held fruitful discussions on progress in the implementation of projects supported by the Mekong-Lancang Cooperation Special Fund (MLCSF) and reaffirmed their shared commitment to further strengthening the MLC framework and ensuring that its cooperation projects deliver concrete benefits to the peoples of the Mekong-Lancang countries.
On the same day, the Chinese Delegation also conducted site visits of the MLCSF-funded projects in Phnom Penh, including the National Center for Parapsychology Entomology and Malaria Control of the Ministry of Health and the Women’s Economic Empowerment and Entrepreneurship Development Center of the Ministry of Women's Affairs.
Before concluding its working visit in Cambodia, the Chinese Delegation held a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation with the National Secretariat of Cambodia for Mekong-Lancang Cooperation and representatives of relevant implementing agencies of the MLC Special Fund projects.
