**Cambodia’s Foreign Minister Prak Sokhonn has affirmed that Cambodia will continue to pursue peaceful mechanisms in line with international law to resolve maritime border disputes with Thailand, and this, even if Bangkok withdraws from the current bilateral agreement on maritime boundary demarcation.
Speaking in an exclusive interview on state-owned television on May 1, Sokhonn said that Cambodia has taken note of a decision by Thailand’s National Security Council to withdraw from the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the Area of Overlapping Maritime Claims to the Continental Shelf.
